FAQEvolving as early creators ask better questions

Answers to the questions we're already getting about Artteom.

This FAQ is a living document. As we speak with early adopters, founders, and partners, we're adding the questions that actually come up in the real world – not just the ones a marketing team would invent.

Start here

The short version, if you only have a few minutes

What exactly is Artteom?

Artteom is a creator-first ecosystem built around competitive events, showcases, a zero-commission marketplace, a services hub for client work, community spaces, AI tools, logistics, and events — designed for creators across art, music, games, film, design, writing, content and more.

Is this live yet?

Not fully. You're looking at an interim alpha experience designed to explain what's coming, gather a waitlist, and involve early adopters in shaping what we build first.

How do I get involved right now?

Join the waitlist, tell us whether you're primarily a creator, collector, or partner, and share what you want from a platform like this. Early voices will shape the roadmap.

For creators

Do I have to be a full-time artist or musician to use Artteom?+

No. Artteom is for serious creators across all disciplines — including art, music, games, film, photography, writing, design, content creation, and more — whether you do this full-time or alongside studies, work, or family life. Categories and timelines are designed to respect real-world schedules.

What does “zero-commission marketplace” actually mean?+

It means Artteom does not take a cut of the creator side of a sale. Buyers may pay a small platform fee, but creators keep 100% of their listed price. Any exceptions to this (for example, special campaigns) will be clearly marked.

Will I lose rights to my work if I enter a competition?+

No, not by default. The intent is that you keep ownership of your work while granting Artteom limited rights to display and promote it in connection with the competition and platform. Some formats may offer optional licensing deals, which will always be clearly explained up front.

Can I still work with clients off-platform?+

Yes. We see Artteom as an amplifier for your career, not a wall around it. If someone discovers you here and you end up working together elsewhere, that's a success story, not a violation.

Competitions & formats

What is the Art World Cup?+

The Art World Cup is a flagship global competition series for visual creators — illustrators, painters, concept artists, and 3D creators — structured with qualifiers, regional brackets, and global finals. Additional World Cup formats for other disciplines will follow.

What is ArtWars?+

ArtWars is a fast-paced, experimental format: head‑to‑head creative battles, timed prompts, cross‑discipline challenges, and themed events that the community can follow in real time. Visual, audio, and mixed‑media formats will all have variations.

How will music and sound competitions work?+

We’re shaping this with producers, bands, composers, and sound designers. Expect categories for performance, production, sound design, composition, scoring, and possibly hybrid formats that link audio with visual or interactive work.

Will there be competitions for games, film, writing, or content creation?+

Yes. Multi‑creator competitions are part of the longer-term roadmap. Early pilots will include game development showcases, short‑form film or motion competitions, writing/storytelling formats, and content‑focused creator battles.

Money, pricing & rights

How will Artteom make money if creators keep 100% of sales?+

Artteom focuses on value-added areas like buyer-side fees, sponsorships, enterprise/brand solutions, and certain optional services. We want the default creator experience to feel generous, not extractive.

Are there going to be subscriptions?+

Most likely, yes – especially for more advanced analytics, studio features, or high-volume usage. But the core competition and marketplace access for individual creators is planned to have a generous free or low-cost entry point. See the Pricing page for the current thinking.

Will there be taxes or withholding on prize money?+

In some jurisdictions, yes. We'll comply with local laws, which may require withholding or reporting on certain payouts. We'll always communicate those details clearly in the rules of each competition.

What if I work with a team or studio?+

We’re designing flows for teams, studios, bands, production groups, game crews, or collaborative creator squads. You’ll be able to assign roles, contributions, and payout splits so everyone is credited fairly.

Platform, accounts & roadmap

Is this just one app, or a family of tools?+

Artteom is an interconnected ecosystem: competitions, showcases, marketplace, services hub, AI Studio, Global Chat, Events Hub, logistics, and future creator‑centric tools. One profile gives you access to all of it.

Will there be an AI Studio, and how will it treat my work?+

Yes, we're designing an AI Studio, but with a very clear stance: it should help you create, not quietly use your work as training data without consent. We're exploring options for opt-ins, transparency, and potentially creator-governed models.

What regions will Artteom support at launch?+

We're planning for global reach from day one, but some features (like payouts or physical logistics) may roll out region by region. Part of the purpose of the waitlist is to understand where demand is strongest.

How can I influence the roadmap?+

By joining the waitlist, opting into feedback programmes, and (optionally) exploring the Founders Circle if you want a deeper role. Many of our early decisions will come directly from what you tell us in this phase.

Is Artteom only for visual artists?+

No. Artteom is designed for creators across many disciplines — including art, music, games, film, writing, photography, design, and content creation. Many early examples are visual art simply because those categories launch first.
